SMS Norms

1) All faculty and staff will present a professional, respectful, and inviting attitude towards students, parents, visitors, and co-workers.

2) We will be sensitive to students' needs and goals and continue building meaningful relationships with them.

3) We will dress, speak, and act according to the expectations we have for our students.

4) We will have high expectations for all students and engage them in meaningful, purposeful activities that are aligned with state standards.

5) We will be helpful and respectful to one another, complete our professional duties on time, and have 95-100% attendance at all faculty meetings.

6) Each staff member will attend at least one school sponsored extracurricular activity during the school year.
